Three men arrested after brawl; man later found dead at home
Police on Monday arrested three men following a brawl at an Ayer Rajah Road construction site at about 6.35pm.
The man they had allegedly beaten up died on Wednesday but it is not known if he had died from his injuries.
A police spokesman told The New Paper when officers arrived, it was found a case of voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon had occurred.
The three men, believed to be Chinese nationals, were arrested at the scene.
The victim, a 22-year-old man, was taken to the National University Hospital with light injuries to his hand and legs.
It is understood Mr Muhammad Fazli Osni had recently joined the construction company as a rigger.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Mr Muhammad Fazli was found dead at home on Wednesday when he was on medical leave.
A widely-shared Facebook post said Mr Muhammad Fazli leaves behind his father and older brother who is unable to work after a motorcycle accident last year.
A police spokesman said they are investigation Mr Muhammad Fazli's unnatural death.
