Three-month-old baby boy chokes to death on milk in babysitter's home
A three-month-old baby boy choked to death on his milk at the house of a babysitter at Pangsapuri Harmoni in Georgetown, Penang.
Muhd Azfar Zikry Anuar, who had previously been looked after by another babysitter, was sent to a new babysitter by his mother for the first time on Friday.
North East District police chief ACP Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the baby choked on the milk while on the lap of the babysitter at about 1.30pm.
"The baby was confirmed dead while being rushed to the Penang Hospital. The police have recorded a statement from the babysitter, in her 30s," he said in a statement.
A post-mortem revealed that the baby had choked on his milk and there was no injury.
