If you can tolerate kids, why not dogs?

This article is more than 12 months old

I refer to the article "Don't allow dogs for flat dwellers" (The New Paper, Dec 12). I strongly disagree.

The writer complains about dog poo at void decks. Most owners are responsible people who clear the poo. I can also argue that we shouldn't allow babies in flats as they make more noise than dogs.

We don't complain about children. To owners, dogs are like babies. Yes, life is stressful, so we need pets to make us happier. And not all dogs need a big garden all the time. Get the facts right.
