Wanted teen taunts police on Facebook saying 'catch me if you can', gets caught
A teenager was arrested after he teased police on Facebook, posting the message "catch me if you can" following an online appeal for his whereabouts.
According to The Independent, Logan Rhys James, 19, was wanted for breaching his license conditions after his release from prison on Feb 6.
He had previously been sentenced to eight months behind bars for a street knife attack.
However, a week after his release, the 19-year-old was recalled to prison for failing to retain contact with police in the county of Gwent in Wales.
Authorities posted an image of the boy on Facebook appealing for his whereabouts to which he commented: "catch me if you can wont (sic) see me slipping."
But he did slip.
Police arrested James in Caerphilly, Wales, on Sunday (Feb 15).
On Monday, an update of his arrest was posted on Facebook, with Gwent police cheekily saying: "We would like to thank the public, the media and Mr James himself for drawing attention to our efforts to return him to prison."
