Warning note gone viral: American football fan tells stranger about his cheating girlfriend

Was it right for him to poke his nose into others' affairs?

During an American football game on Thanksgiving Day, a Detroit Lion's fan caught sight of a lady "romantically texting" another man while she was seated next to her boyfriend.

Being the good Samaritan that he was, the man called Lye wrote a note to the boyfriend - alerting him to his unfaithful girlfriend.

In the note, he said:

"Hey bro, I don't know you and you don't know me. When you get home check your girl's phone.

She's been texting "Jason" saying she wishes she was with him all day!

Take care, wish you the best. Happy Thanksgiving and #ChiveOn!"

Lye, who was seated behind the couple also observed that the woman kept her phone out of her boyfriend's sight when he leaned in to talk. 

She was texting another man things like "“I wish I was with you all day” and “I will see you as soon as I am done with him”, according to Lye. 

Since then, Lye posted the note of Facebook but has received mixed reactions on his deed.

However, he felt that he made the right move.

"I don't regret a damn thing," he said.
