We test Instagram's Hyperlapse app that promises smooth timelapse videos
Hyperlapse may just be everyone's new favourite app soon.
Created by Instagram, Hyperlapse allows anyone to create timelapse videos, which would normally require an intricate set-up.
But Hyperlapse allows you to create these videos, that end up looking like smooth, professional tracking shots, really easily.
Just take a video and then decide on the speed - and you're done.
Sadly, only iOS users are able to enjoy the app for now but Instagram says they are working on an Android version.
I put Hyperlapse to the test and took a simple video of our rooftop garden - and this is the result.
Bear in mind that I have extremely shaky hands but Instagram's image stabilisation software really came to the rescue here.
In comparison, here is a video that was produced by TNP artist Billy Ker.
We bet he would have loved to have Hyperlapse when he painstakingly produced this timelapse video in July for TNP's 26th Anniversary.
