Woman, 56, attacks man with knife after being spurned
Police in Florida found a 25-year-old man running away from a knife-wielding attacker in the early hours of June.
His attacker?
Elizabeth Highley, a 56-year-old woman who was later found by police carrying a knife in one hand and a "broken wooden walking cane" in her other.
According to website The Smoking Gun, the victim, Crue Finley, was running away from his attacker after he "rejected her sexual advances, causing her to become angry and violent".
The police report obtained by The Smoking Gun also said that Finley's thumb was sliced while fleeing from Highley.
It also said Highley was crying and angry at first, but was later transported back to the police station without further incident.
