Bomoh rapes woman who wanted to 'restore' virginity before wedding
A bride-to-be in Petaling Jaya was worried that her fiancé would reject her if he found out she was not a virgin.
So the woman, who works as a secretary, sought the help of a bomoh (shaman) to fix her hymen.
But the 53-year-old bomoh took advantage of her naivety instead.
He allegedly made the 22-year-old woman send explicit videos of herself to him and forced himself on her as part of the “healing ritual”, The Star reported.
Kajang Police Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab said the bomoh gave her three options — she could send him 10 explicit videos of herself, let him touch her body or let him have sex with her.
The woman chose the first option.

Said ACP Abdul Rashid: “She sent the bomoh three explicit videos of herself. But, she got tired of sending him the videos and settled for the second option.
“She met the suspect last week at a shack. The woman initially assumed that the bomoh merely wanted to caress her.
“Instead, he forced himself on her.”
He was arrested after the woman lodged a police report.
He has been remanded until Tuesday (April 21) and is being investigated for rape.
