Groom misses wedding after high-speed chase in supercar
A groom missed his wedding after he and his stag party rammed into a police car in their super cars.
The 28-year-old groom had allegedly hired a convoy of luxury cars last Friday (Oct 9) so that he and his friends could cruise around and pose in them around Manchester, reported the Manchester Evening News.
The convoy included a Lamborghini Gallardo, two Audi R8s and two AMG Mercedes.
Police were called up at Manchester City Centre at around 2am to calls about street fighting.
When police got there, the group sped away and led police on a high-speed police chase across Manchester.
According to the Sun, the chase ended after one of the Audis allegedly rammed one of the police cars.
The six men, aged 20 and 28, spent the entire wedding day in the station being questioned by police and were only released on bail late at night.
Greater Manchester Police City Centre's official Twitter have been updating the public on the case and have likened the chase to scenes from The Fast and The Furious movies.
