US sailor's invite to Taeyang to be her date for Navy Ball goes viral
She only uploaded it on her Facebook page yesterday (Sept 3) and already, it has gone viral.
Countless netizens are rooting for Ms Khou Yang, who recorded a video inviting Taeyang from K-pop group Big Bang to her Navy Ball next month.
Ms Khou's 42-second clip has been viewed over 100,000 times.
According to Allkpop, Ms Khou currently serves in the US Navy, and is stationed in Changwon, South Korea, which is also where her ball will be held on Oct 8.
In the video, she told her favourite K-pop star: "It would be my honour for you to be my date as I've always been a huge fan of you since your debut. Still am.
"I know that you're busy with your tour this year but if you can find some time, I would really appreciate it.
"I hope this gets to you."
When the video went viral, Ms Khou (pictured below, front, with her friends) posted another message on her Facebook page thanking her supporters.

"This is too funny. I honestly wasn't expecting more than 50 views with the help of friends and family(forcing/threatening to end our relationship) lol but you guys are awesome.
"I don't know what to do with all the attention it's receiving but I just want everyone to know that I'm not expecting much because I think he has a concert in Mexico the day before the Ball.
"This was just me giving it a shot. But thank you for your help and support to get the word out."
Many of her supporters gave her advice on how best to get the video to Taeyang (below), with some asking asking her to share it on Big Bang's official Facebook page.
