What did Clinton ask Obama after joining Twitter?
Better late than never – US President Barack Obama is finally on Twitter.
The 53-year-old leader caused an online stir when he joined the micro-blogging website on Monday morning under the handle of @POTUS, gaining 1.65 million followers within 17 hours of his first tweet.
He posted his first photo five hours later:
And it wasn't long after before he took his first question from none other than one of his predecessors, Mr Bill Clinton:
Keeping in mind that Mrs Hillary Clinton is campaigning to run for president next year, it's probably safe to say that Mr Clinton was asking on behalf of someone who's more than just a friend.
And if you've been actively following US politics online, you'd probably know that Mr Obama's wife Michelle has been active on Twitter as @FLOTUS (or First Lady of the US) since January 2013.
It does make you wonder though – what handle will Mr Clinton take on if Mrs Clinton comes to power?
