UK girl who was raped, impregnated by brother when she was 11 shares her story

When Tressa Middleton was 11 years old, she was raped by her older brother.

Her then 16-year-old sibling Jason Middleton took her to a derelict building near their home and violated her.

She became pregnant with his child and gave birth to a daughter in 2006 when she was 12.

She was Britain's youngest mother at that time.

Now, at the age of 22, Ms Middleton has released a book titled "Tressa: The Twelve Year Old Mum: My Story" about the abuse she suffered as a child and the pain she had to go through in the years after the birth.

Too afraid

Actress Gal Gadot revealed on Instagram on March 7 that she has welcomed her fourth child.

Ms Middleton said she was initially too afraid to tell her then-34-year-old mother Tracey Tallons that she was pregnant.

But when she finally did, she said it was due to a drunk liaison with another teen because she did not want to hurt her mum.

The teenager was later forced to give her baby up for adoption.

Ms Middleton has five siblings. They share four different fathers.

It was only when she was 14 years old that she revealed her brother to be the father of her child.

DNA tests confirmed her claim, and in 2009, he was jailed for four years.

The future

Ms Middleton told a UK television host that she hopes to meet her daughter one day.

"I know its going to be hard for her to find out her uncle is actually her dad. I hope she doesn't blame me for staying quiet," she was quoted as saying.
