Looks like a BEAUTIFUL CHOICE for Charity Cup

Ipoh Trackwork

Versatile Malaysian-bred BEAUTIFUL CHOICE stepped up preparations for a strong claim in the Charity Cup, an Enrich Stakes A Plus event over 1,800m on Sunday with a sparkling workout in Ipoh yesterday.

Taken out by leading apprentice Tham Kin Chong, the eight-year-old by Super Istana warmed up with a round of cantering exercise and then sprinted over 600m in 38.6sec. The track was soft.

Beautiful Choice has an incredible record of 11 wins, 10 seconds and four thirds in 41 outings. He captured the 2012 Charity Cup series over 1,800m in 2012.

Beautiful Choice last won when he beat Triple One D'Best by a neck in an Open event over 1,600m in Penang in August.

Last time out, he ran third to Stormy Bruce in an Enrich Stakes A event over 1,300m in Penang in heavy going.

Trained by Wong Kong Fatt for Beautiful Choice Stable, Beautiful Choice can have a say despite carrying 59kg.
