Leading jockey Manoel Nunes and I Saifudin were handed suspensions for careless riding at recent Kranji meetings.
Nunes, who notched his 200th Kranji winner last Friday, was told on Sunday that he was being slapped with a three-day ban for his ride on MR BIG on Sept 7.
At the conclusion of an inquiry, Nunes pleaded guilty to careless riding in that while riding MR BIG in Race 10, he - when approaching the 100m, allowed his mount to shift inwards when insufficiently clear.
That resulted in STEPITUP, the mount of David Flores, having to check.
As Nunes had been engaged to ride in this Friday night meeting, his suspension was deferred and will now begin on Sept 22. He will sit out the races on Sept 26, Sept 28 and Oct 3.
In addition, he was fined $2,000.
Saifudin, who scored on Spanish Bay on Sunday, got into hot water for the interference he caused to GADAWON in Race 4 on Sunday.
He was found guilty of careless riding in that, shortly after the start, he allowed Spanish Bay to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear of other riders. It resulted in GADAWON having to be checked inwards.
He was suspended for two race days.
As he, too, had accepted rides for both Friday and Sunday's meetings, his suspension was deferred and will begin on Sept 22 through to Sept 28.
