Nunes suspended three days
Leading jockey Manoel Nunes has been suspended for three Singapore race days over his handling of SPLICE in Race 3 on Sunday.
Nunes pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding in that near the 300m mark, he allowed his mount to shift inwards, while riding it along, when insufficiently clear.
This resulted in Clermont Club having to check.
As Nunes has been engaged to ride on Friday and Sunday, his suspension will start from next Monday. He was advised of his right of appeal.
