5 ALPINE EAGLE (4:3-0-1): Always handy before scoring hd win (57.0) Skellig, Black Caesar 1,400m Morphettville. Good. Jan 24. Made it two in a row with win (59.0) October Date, Rod's Opinion 1,600m M'ville. Good. Feb 14. Emerging type from good stable and looks a definite threat here. Must go in.

4 HONG KONG CAPTAIN (4:2-0-1): Came from well back to win (56.0) Profit Share, Turnitaround 1,500m M Valley. Good. Jan 24. Raced handy when 5th (57.5) San Nicasio 1,400m C'field. Good. Feb 14. Shows promise but this is his first try in this distance range. Keep safe.

RACE 2 WARWICK FARM (1,300M)

6 RUDY (18:7-2-2): Settled midfield and let down well to win (53.0) I'm Imposing, Strawberry Boy 1,600m R'wick. Soft. Dec 13. First-up. Queenslander who hasn't been seen since winning the Villiers Stakes late last year. Capable when fresh and proved himself in G2 company last campaign. Worth thought.

11 THUMP (17:4-1-2): Sat wide just off the speed and kept going strongly to the line to win (55.0) Danesiri, My Sabeel 1,200m R'wick. Good. Feb 14. Overcame a wide run to win the Triscay Stakes first-up. Holds her form second-up and loves racing on this track. Can win again.

5 IT'S SOMEWHAT (13:2-2-3): Sent to Australia following disappointing 10th (57.5) Kingston Hill 2,937m G B. Good. Sept 13. Wasn't put under any pressure in 4th Rain Affair 803m W Farm barrier trial Good. Feb 9. First-up. Quality European galloper making his Australian debut. Placed in the Coral Eclipse Stakes (G1) last year. Capable when fresh and trials have been encouraging. Big watch.

RACE 3 CAULFIELD (1,400M)

1 DISSIDENT (19:6-5-2): Covered extra ground when 3rd (58.5) Mourinho, It Is Written 1,200m M Valley. Good. Jan 24. Blitzed rivals for win (59.0) Entirely Platinum, Mourinho 1,400m C'field. Good. Feb 14. Reeled off the quickest closing 400 metres of the day to score last time and he's the one to beat again here. Major player.

4 ENTIRELY PLATINUM (17:6-5-1): Went for a spell after 8th (55.0) Lucia Valentina 2,000m F'ton. Good. Oct 4. Toughed it out to the line when 2nd (59.0) Dissident 1,400m C'field. Good. Feb 14. Super effort first-up and he generally improves sharply with a run under his belt. Definite threat.

7 DRIEFONTEIN (35:8-8-1): Got nabbed late when shorthead 2nd (56.5) Weary 1,200m R'hill. Soft. Jan 31. Just missed when 2nd (56.5) Heart Testa 1,200m R'wick. Good. Feb 14. Looks close to a win and should enjoy a lovely trail here. Not the worst.

RACE 4 WARWICK FARM (1,600M)

14 SILENT ACHIEVER (31:10-3-3): Drifted back early but came to the outside in the straight and hit the line hard for 5th (57.0) Contributer 1,400m R'wick. Good. Feb 14. Lovely first-up run in the Apollo Stakes. Proven second-up. Look for her to be fighting out the finish.

10 NINTH LEGION (27:6-4-3): Sent forward and kicked away soon after straightening but couldn't hold off swooper for 2nd (59.0) Contributer 1,400m R'wick. Good. Feb 14. Most impressive first-up in the Carrington Stakes then sent forward and stuck on well in the Apollo Stakes. Rock hard fit and puts himself in the race. Up to this.

5 CONTRIBUTER (12:6-2-1): Strode along in the second half of the field and let down with an impressive sprint in the straight to post win (59.0) Ninth Legion, Weary 1,400m R'wick. Good. Feb 14. Brilliant win first-up in the Apollo Stakes. Even better suited out to the mile. Will take a power of beating again.

RACE 5 CAULFIELD (1,800M)

12 SPILLWAY (20:4-2-3): Passed a couple late when 4th (59.0) Au Revoir 2,400m Sandown-Hillside. Good. Nov 15. Always in a similar spot when 5th (59.0) Dissident 1,400m C'field. Good. Feb 14. Nice effort first-up and sure to appreciate the extra trip in this. Comes into calculations.

2 HAPPY TRAILS (46:7-8-6): Went for a spell after win (59.0) He's Your Man, Farraaj 2,000m F'ton. Good. Nov 1. Covered extra ground when 6th (59.0) Dissident 1,400m C'field. Good. Feb 14. Worked hard mid-race from a wide gate last time and was far from disgraced. Definite threat here.

5 JACQUINOT BAY (31:11-5-2): Led throughout to score nose win (60.0) Aragonese, Mister Milton 1,600m Sandown-Hillside. Good. Feb 7. Just missed when nose 2nd (57.0) Smokin' Joey 1,600m C'field. Good. Feb 14. Doesn't know how to run a bad race but this race has more depth than his recent runs. Place looks best.

RACE 6 WARWICK FARM (1,400M)

1 COSMIC ENDEAVOUR (14:6-1-1): Caught wide in the second half of the field first-up and did well to close in 4th (60.0) Thump 1,200m R'wick. Good. Feb 14. Huge run first-up a fortnight ago with 60kg on her back. Drawn to receive a softer run here and steps out to her pet trip. The one to beat.

4 DEAR DEMI (37:7-6-7): Put away after battling away midfield for 7th (57.0) Fawkner 2,000m C'field. Good. Oct 11. Found the line well for 3rd Rain Affair, Va Pensiero 803m W Farm barrier trial. Good. Feb 9. First-up. Top-class mare. Ran well over 1,200m in G3 company first-up last time in and trial leading into this suggests she has come back just as well. Rate highly.

11 NEENA ROCK (19:5-6-1): Got back after missing the kick on return but worked home nicely late for 4th (55.5) Catkins 1,200m R'hill. Good. Feb 7. Ran home well after missing the kick first-up in the Breeders Classic. Better for that outing and will improve out to 1,400m. Has claims.

RACE 7 CAULFIELD (1,100M)

10 ATMOSPHERICAL (11:6-0-3): Powered away final stages for win (56.0) Consorting, Straight Gold 1,000m F'ton. Good. Nov 6. Worked home for 3rd (55.0) Chautauqua, Flamberge 1,100m C'field. Good. Feb 14. She will have taken great benefit from run this track and distance last start. Drawn to get perfect run and she will be a major player last 100m.

13 ICONIC (17:4-5-0): Went to the line untested for 9th (58.5) Lankan Rupee 1,200m M Valley. Good. Oct 24. Only got going final stages when 7th (55.5) Reparations 1,200m F'ton. Good. Nov 4. Solid win 800m Morphettville Parks barrier trial. Good. Feb 10. He has super first-up record and if can get run back inside from the turn may finish all over these.

16 EARTHQUAKE (9:5-1-2): Too strong when winning (59.0) Tawteen, More Radiant 1,200m C'field. Good. Oct 11. Then 8th (54.5) Brazen Beau 1,200m F'ton. Good. Nov 1. Impressive win in 800m Cranbourne Training barrier trial. Good. Feb 9. She has won all three Caulfield starts including 2014 Blue Diamond G1. Two impressive trial wins will have her reay for this.

RACE 8 WARWICK FARM (1,200M)

3 LE CORDON BLEU (5:3-0-2): Ridden positively for win (59.0) Lofty's Menu, Grand Condor 1,250m C'bury. Good. Feb 11. Charged home from the tail to win first-up then showed his versatility when pressing forward and fighting off rivals last time. Expect him to measure up.

7 DARCIWOOD (10:3-1-2): Stormed down the outside in the straight for easy win (54.5) Selectify, Spy Decoder 1,200m R'wick. Good. Feb 14. Produced an electrifying sprint to win at Randwick a fortnight ago. Only has to hold that form to win this.

2 EARNEST ERNEST (50:5-11-8): Given time to balance up and closed in well again for 3rd (52.0) Just A Girl, Tahitian Black 1,100m R'hill. Good. Feb 21. Finds it very hard to win but has been performing well in stronger races than this of late. Makes each way appeal.

RACE 9 CAULFIELD (1,200M)

7 PRIDE OF DUBAI (2:0-1-1): Raced greenly but still caught the eye when 3rd (56.0) Ottoman, Miss Idyllic 1,100m R'hill. Good. Dec 20. Powered home for 2nd (55.5) Of The Brave 1,100m C'field. Good. Feb 14. He was the eye-catcher in the Prelude and if they go hard up front he will be ready to pounce from the corner. Top chance.

8 FONTITON (3:3-0-0): Looked in need of the hit-out but still won (57.5) Haybah, Pursuits 1,000m Sandown-Hillside. Good. Jan 26. Powered away from the 100m for win (55.5) Miss Gidget, Flamboyant Lass 1,100m C'field. Good. Feb 14. She only needs some luck in running from the corner to find clear room and she is sure to be in finish. Tough to beat.

12 CLAUDIA JEAN (2:1-0-0): Dominant win (52.0) Bosnia, Call Me Anything 1,000m F'ton. Good. Dec 20. No luck after slow start for 7th (55.0) Le Chef 1,200m Gold Coast. Good. Jan 10. Impressive winner on debut then she missed the start in the Magic Millions and that cost her. Plenty of talent and blinkers go on from ideal barrier draw. Can surprise.

RACE 10 CAULFIELD (2,000M)

5 CHESTER ROAD (26:8-5-2): Only held ground final stages for 5th (58.0) Real Love 2,400m Ascot. Good. Jan 1. Never settled but was held-up from turn for 6th (56.0) Smokin' Joey 1,600m C'field. Good. Feb 14. Thought he should have finished touch closer here last start when held up on bend. Better for that experience and this a suitable race for him to win.

7 INDEX LINKED (25:7-6-2): Never settled and did not finish off when 8th (57.5) Averau 2,000m F'ton. Good. Jan 31. Powered home from the corner for 2nd (60.0) Phantom Brew 1,800m C'fiel. Soft. Feb 14. He was the eye-catcher from the back here last start. Meets similar field and he is not far off a win.

1 BIG MEMORY (20:4-6-2): Set the speed and battled on well for 3rd (57.5) Le Roi, Prince Of Penzance 2,600m F'ton. Good. Nov 8. Hit the line strongly out wide for 4th (57.5) Smokin' Joey 1,600m C'field. Good. Feb 14. Sure to appreciate the distance rise and will be fitter second-up from spell.
