S John suspended three race S'pore days
Jockey S John has been suspended for three Singapore race days after pleading guilty to a charge in that after riding NANDOWRA in Race 8 on Sept 6, he returned to scale 1kg in excess of the declared weight that he weighed out for the race.
There was no evidence to suggest that he had or attempted to deceive the clerk of scales when weighing.
However, John had admitted consuming fluids after he weighed out for the race and that this might have contributed to him returning overweight.
He was suspended from yesterday to Oct 2.
