Zuriman, Soo questioned
Apprentice Z Zuriman (above), when questioned regarding the run of CHASE, said that Chase was a big-striding horse that was reluctant to stride out among runners.
Shortly after entering the straight, he had runners in front of him to the inside, as such, he elected to attempt to come to the outside to obtain clear running.
He added that Chase had run on well when placed under pressure after being able to obtain clear running to the outside. His explanation was noted.
Jockey KB Soo (above), when questioned regarding the run of EASY MONEY, said that he was unable to obtain cover in the early stages and therefore was caught wide throughout.
He added that the gelding travelled well in this position. However, approaching the hometurn, he was under pressure and failed to finish the race as anticipated and was disappointing. His explanation was noted.
Soo, when questioned regarding the run of KAISER, said that his instructions were to race in a forward position. But, after beginning well from a wide barrier, he was unable to cross to his inside, so he elected to take up a position just behind the leaders. He added that the gelding travelled well until approaching the hometurn. When under pressure, his horse failed to respond to his riding. His explanation was noted.
