El Milagrolooks too strong for his rivals

Impressive last-start winner EL MILAGRO is maintaining form and should be hard to beat again in Race 9 today.

Although he is the highest-rated galloper in the race, he is not giving much to most of his rivals, while two others will be carrying 2.5kg more than him under the conditions of the Open Stakes race.

The Shane Baertschiger-trained five-year-old was raring to go in his gallop last Wednesday but hard held by race-rider Danny Beasley.

The other plus factor is that he is drawn beautifully in gate 2.
