Premiership football to be made available on its digital streaming service from next season

Eleven Sports Network yesterday unveiled its packages for the 2016/17 Premier League season, with prices starting from $19.90 monthly.

This came right after it announced a multi-year agreement with Singtel, which has held exclusive broadcasting rights to the Premiership in Singapore since the start of the 2010/11 season.

Eleven Sports' Premier League football subscribers will be able to watch three "live" games and three delayed telecasts per round, on computers, laptops and mobile devices via its digital streaming service.

In addition to Premiership matches, viewers will also have access to FA Cup, League Cup, Community Shield, Football League and England's friendly matches.

Joyee Biswas, managing director, Asia, Eleven Sports Network, said: "This announcement gives football fans a reason to celebrate, as it will allow them to watch their favourite Premier League teams and players at an affordable price.

"Our subscription options will provide fans with the flexibility to choose what they want and access it on multiple devices."

Those who sign up now for the $19.90-per-month plan, which comes with a one-year contract, get to watch all 51 matches of Euro 2016 for free instead of paying $88 for the Euro Pass.

Also available is a discounted annual subscription, at a one-time payment of $214.90.

Those who prefer more flexibility can opt for the Monthly Pass at $24.90, which doesn't come with a contract.

But this package does not include Euro 2016 games.

Eleven Sport's live coverage of the Premier League will be led by award-winning presenter Richard Lenton and his panel of pundits, as they provide in-depth pre-match analyses and post-match reviews.

Founded last year, the global sports network also provides live coverage of badminton, baseball, basketball and tennis events from around the world, as well as more football from the Italian Serie A, Campeonato Brasileiro, Scottish Professional Football League and the South American qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup.

* Eleven Sports is offering a free trial for Euro 2016's opening match between France and Romania, which kicks off at 3am tomorrow morning (Singapore time). To sign up, go to www.elevensports.sg, click on "Euro Pass" plan, and key in promo code "ELEVENEURO".
