Ex-Liverpool man Riise taunts self-destructing Red Devils
It has been more than seven years since John Arne Riise last played for Liverpool.
You would think that time heals all wounds.
But in Riise’s case, it hasn’t lessened his dislike for Manchester United, Liverpool’s arch rivals.
The Norwegian is enjoying United’s current demise thoroughly.
So much so that he even posted this on Twitter:
United’s form has deteriorated alarmingly since November.
Without a win in seven matches in all competitions, the Red Devils have gone from one point behind leaders Leicester City to nine currently, in the space of just a month.
In addition, the team have drawn plenty of flak because of their unattractive style of play, which has seen manager Louis van Gaal’s job come under threat.
