Fabregas signs for Chelsea
That's one transfer saga done and dusted.
Chelsea have won the race to land Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas for a reported £30 million ($63m) fee.
The former Arsenal midfielder has signed a five-year deal.
Speaking to Barcelona's official website, Fabregas said: "I do feel that I have unfinished business in the Premier League and now is the right time for my return.
"Everyone knows that Arsenal had the first option to sign me. They decided not to take this option and therefore it wasn’t meant to be.
"I considered all the other offers very carefully and I firmly believe that Chelsea is the best choice. They match my footballing ambitions with their hunger and desire to win trophies."
HISTORY
Given the history between Chelsea and Arsenal, the news will surely not go down well with Gunners' fans.
A Barcelona youth product, Fabregas left his boyhood club to join Arsenal's academy in 2003 at the age of 16.
After spending eight years in north London, the midfielder returned to the Nou Camp for £35m.
But the Spain international's dream return turned sour as he endured a mixed three-year spell with Barcelona.
