Fed-up linesman goes spray crazy

Vanishing spray has become a boon for referees ever since it was first used on the football pitch.

No more having to repeatedly tell players to stand 10 yards back when a free kick is awarded. No more having to keep an eye out for players who encroach while the man in black’s head is turned.

But what happens when match officials go spray crazy?

A clip making the rounds on the Internet answers that.

It features a fed-up linesman snapping after players refused to retreat the requisite 10 yards during a match between Brazilian giants Corinthians and Santos a couple of years ago.

Irritated with their lack of cooperation, he brandishes his vanishing spray and proceeds to draw what has to be arguably the biggest semi-circle ever seen on a football pitch, next to the centre circle.
