Rojo set for United bow after receiving work permit
Marcos Rojo has been cleared to make his Manchester United debut after he was granted a work permit.
The Argentine defender completed a £16 million ($33m) move to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon in mid-August but was unable to feature for the Red Devils because of immigration issues.
But the club tweeted that he is in line to make his debut against Queens Park Rangers after the international break.
His availability is good news for for manager Louis van Gaal, who has endured a winless start to his competitive reign at Old Trafford.
While the 24-year-old made his name at the World Cup as a left-back for Argentina, Rojo's versatility should see him slot into a central defensive berth under van Gaal's 3-5-2 formation.
