Ronaldo set to score with Mexican bombshell
He missed with his previous target, but World Footballer of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo is already eyeing his next one.
We’re talking about his reported new love interest Vanessa Huppenkothen, the attractive TV reporter whose photos of her in a Mexico jersey went viral on social media during last year’s World Cup.
Spanish magazine Diez Minutos reported that the 30-year-old Real Madrid star is now dating Huppenkothen, 29, who was in Spain to promote a new betting service recently and attended a game at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Both Ronaldo and Huppenkothen are coming off break-ups — Ronaldo announced his split with model Irina Shayk in January after dating for five years, while Huppenkothen, divorced in 2013 after a three-year marriage.
But she appears ready to date again.
She said in an interview last year: “I don’t know if I’m in love, but I’m very hopeful.”
She didn’t reveal who her new beau is, but said that she was seeing someone who is not from Mexico and the distance made it “interesting”.
They might not be officially an item yet, but Ronaldo will get a chance to zero in on his new target soon, as Huppenkothen is scheduled to interview him next month.
