Tottenham Hotspur fielded new signings striker Vincent Janssen and midfielder Victor Wanyama in a training-ground friendly last night, but went down 1-0 to Fulham.
Janssen came close to scoring a late equaliser, but was denied by Fulham goalkeeper Jesse Joronen.
Fielding a mix of seniors and developmental squad players, Mauricio Pochettino's men conceded in the 88th minute, against the run of play, when Luca de la Torre got the better of Spurs' substitute goalkeeper Luke McGee. - Wire Services.
