Uefa not amused by Bayern Munich coach's choice of clothing
Pep Guardiola has been charged by Uefa for wearing a T-shirt.
Uefa was not amused by Guardiola’s choice of clothing, because the T-shirt demands justice for a journalist who died at last summer’s World Cup.
The Bayern Munich boss donned the black top with the “#JusticiaParaTopo” message to the pre-match press conference before their 6-1 win over Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The journalist was Argentine Jorge Lopez, who was killed in a suspicious road accident while in Sao Paulo in July, and the T-shirt’s message seemed to support a campaign to investigate Lopez’s death.
Uefa said Guardiola had been disciplined because of an “incident of a non-sporting nature”.
