United sign Falcao on loan
Manchester United are set to land Monaco striker Radamel Falcao on a one-year loan deal.
Despite a strong pre-season, Louis van Gaal's team are winless after three games in the English Premier League.
Aside from losing to Swansea City on opening day at Old Trafford followed by away draws with Sunderland and Burnley in the EPL, the Red Devils crashed out of the Capital One Cup with a 4-0 humbling by League One side MK Dons.
Van Gaal is ready to turn to Falcao as he looks to for a remedy to the Red Devils' malaise and has struck a temporary deal for the Colombian star, who joined Monaco from Atletico Madrid last year for £50 million ($103.8m).
According to PA Sport, the French side want a £12m fee for a one-year loan of the 28-year-old hitman.
Before the shock move to United, Falcao was reportedly attracting interest from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Arsenal.
