Watch this blind footballer pull off some Messi magic
He’s been nicknamed “the Lionel Messi of blind football”.
And French Paralympian Yvan Wouandji lived up to the billing with a mazy solo goal during an international match against Germany.
Starting his run from outside his own penalty area, he beat three men before thumping the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
Blind football requires outfield players to wear masks to ensure everyone is equally visually impaired.
But the goalkeepers can be sighted.
Wouandji’s crisp finish suggested that even a sighted No. 1 would struggle to keep out his strike.
The Frenchman’s wild celebrations just made his wonder goal that much sweeter.
