Which Brazilian superstar is renting out his home for the World Cup?
It looks like one Brazilian superstar is looking to cash in on the World Cup fever that will descend upon Brazil next month.
Ex-Barcelona midfield maestro Ronaldinho, who was left out of the Selecao's 23-man World Cup squad, has listed his entire Rio de Janeiro home for rent on lodging rental website Airbnb.
The property in the Barra da Tijuca neighbourhood covers more than 1,000 sq m, has five bedrooms, a swimming pool, a leisure area and even a tree house.
The Atletico Mineiro star wrote: "This is for anyone who is in doubt that I will rent my house on Airbnb! enjoy #CasaR10"
The listing says that up to eight guests will have unfettered access to the entire home, which has amenities like a sauna, a gourmet kitchen, a zen room for massages and yoga, and even a stage for a samba party with friends (just to list a few).
Of course, folks who have always dreamed of staying in a footballer's home will have shell out a cool S$19,367 a night for up to three guests, with each extra guest paying an extra S$1,250.
And fans wanting to meet Ronaldinho will probably be disappointed to know that the buck-toothed genius won't be around during their stay.
He probably didn't want to be around for the World Cup if he wasn't playing in it.
Still, this is a good excuse to remember one of Ronnie's most glorious World Cup moments when he scored against England in 2002. Enjoy.
