All set for BT Corporate Golf League
With just two weeks remaining for the 8th Business Times Corporate League, the lobbying for players has been ongoing as teams are bent on doing well in the popular event.
The first of the six-leg series tees off at the Singapore Island Country Club's Island Course on July 6, and the participants are beefing up their teams.
It is interesting to note that two teams, Boss and Team Macallan, are making their debut in what is considered the best tournament for corporates. DHL Singapore, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, is making its return to the competition.
The very popular Audi is continuing as presenting sponsor and offering a car for hole-in-one. Other sponsors for the hole-in-one prizes are Philip Stein, Buben & Zorweg and Villa Kemala.
Among the cash sponsors are Audi, Edrington, DHL Singapore, Boustead, Centurion, Banyan Tree and Tat Hong. Constance Hotels is a new sponsor. Another supporter is Acushnet, which is providing Titleist NXT or FJ T-shirts in the goodie bags.
Food and beverage sponsors on the course include Gayatri, Polar Puffs, Macallan, Perrier, Polar Pump Water, Sportade and Sunmoon Food. There are 12 teams in the main competition, while 11 teams are playing in the social event.
