LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL WITH MOREIRA

RACE 1 (1,000M)

SPICY SHRIMP (8) appears from a battling second behind Bold Tack to be near a bottom. He's a past C&D winner and is an each-way chance.

FLYING KEEPER (6) is well-rated off his current mark and has finished thereabouts in five of eight outings this term, including a luckless fourth earlier this month behind Friends Of Yan Oi when shuffled back in the run.

MEGA (7) has trouble jumping cleanly. But has found the line well in three of six starts, including a badly hampered fourth behind Bold Tack earlier this month over the straight 1,000m. He'll be rolling late.

RACE 2 (1,650M)

GOOD TIMES ROLL (9) failed to respond when popped the question in a recent mile fourth when handily ridden, but got to the line strongly to fill the frame in two prior starts over the 1,400m and mile. Not worried by the return to the Valley and merits another chance.

CASA JUNIOR (4) was a winner and second from his opening three C&D starts and was nipped on the line by Young Happy last start. He's the logical choice on his consistency but will need luck from his gate.

YOUNG HAPPY (3) was hard to recommend on his opening three sprints, before dashing strongly from last with the tempo on in a recent upset win over this course and distance. He'll be rolling late.

RACE 3 (1,650M)

BETTER ANNOUNCE (1) resented the dirt last start but hard to fault in three of four prior starts over this C&D, including close seconds behind Kingston Elite and Dragon Pins. He'll take some catching.

SPEEDYGONZALEZ (8) earned a cheque for an eighth straight run this term when failing to run down Golden Addiction earlier this month. He's the main danger.

THE UNTOUCHABLELAD (2) just hasn't been able to hold his own in six Class 3s but was a rallying third behind Majestic Anthem over this C&D when last in this grade in November. He'll go close.

RACE 4 (1,200M)

FIRE STARTER (6) got his career off to a promising start with back-to-back placings, including a closing neck second over the 1,200m, and just wasn't up to the challenge in last month's Griffin Trophy. He'll be hard to keep out of the finish, if he handles the Valley course.

PEARL WIN (10) gave a good sight when resuming second behind Step Faster for his new trainer Tony Millard over this C&D. Then had excuses in back-to-back runs and was running on from midfield in a recent Sha Tin third to Star Of Bond. He merits respect.

CREATIVE UNION (8) was a fast-finishing 1,000m fourth last month and had kept on well a start earlier for a third over this C&D behind eventual Class 3 winners Meridian Treasure and Rainbow Fighter. He's one for the short list.

RACE 5 (1,650M)

ONE OF A KIND (1) has disappointed after racking up three mile wins at the Valley. But does appear from his past two over the Sha Tin mile, when holding on for minor cheques to be back on track and must be a chance at this level.

JUN JU (2) has been knocking on the door in his five Sha Tin runs over 1,400m this term, including three placings, and did have excuses when last performing over the Valley mile. He can't be taken lightly.

PANTHER RUN (12) hasn't won in some time but still is capable of a big run, including a rallying third over 1,800m at this course and did have excuses when striking a slow pace earlier this month at Sha Tin. He'll get a tempo to suit and can get up late for a placing.

GOOD THINKER (9) wasn't a major factor in his opening six starts and won't find it any easier following an all-the-way Sha Tin win at a mile, but looks well and winning form is good form.

RACE 6 (1,200M)

RAINBOW FIGHTER (4) needs to shake a five-point penalty, but has charged home with authority in his past three over this C&D, including well-timed wins in his past two starts. He'll be hard to keep out of the finish.

COUR VALANT (6) has been knocking on the door in his past three starts with a return to the Valley, including a fast-finishing neck fourth from a wide gate last start. He'll make it interesting at the finish.

WINFULL PATROL (8) needs to prove himself at the Valley but did shake off a badly hampered run in October to land the plunge of the season over 1,200m at Sha Tin earlier this month. He needs to be kept safe.

DISCIPLES TWELVE (10) had always shown plenty of promise and finally got on track earlier this month following a stable change to the Caspar Fownes yard for an easy win over 1,200m at Sha Tin. He needs to be kept safe, despite the return to Class 3.

RACE 7 (1,650M)

PLEASURE GAINS (4) faltered after a torrid run two back, but has shown a turn of foot to get out of hopeless situations to win three others over this C&D, including a short-head success over Bullish Boy last month. He can topple them late, despite drawing an outside alley.

ALBICELESTE (5) has been itching to score in his past three starts at the Valley, including a recent third behind Pleasure Gains after having to barge out for clear running at the 250m. He's in receipt of five pounds and will be hard to keep out of the finish.

CLASSIC JEWELLERY (11) is stepping up in grade, but did build on a second behind Bullish Boy with a determined win over subsequent winners Royal Partner and Trump from a wide gate. He remains a contender off a light weight.

BULLISH BOY (10) chalked up a second all-the-way course-and-distance win in Class 3 last November and has stayed on well to place in his past two at this level, including a recent bob-of-heads second from a wide gate.

RACE 8 (1,650M)

MAJESTIC ANTHEM (2) added to an earlier win at Sha Tin with three straight handy-to-the-speed successes over this Valley trip, including decisions over principal rivals First Sight Love, Royal Partner and Electronic Fortune. He remains a leading chance.

FIRST SIGHT LOVE (1) put the writing on the wall, before letting down nicely to win going away in his past two C&D starts, including a recent length decision when coming from near last. He'll make it a thriller at the finish.

ROYAL PARTNER (4) had been knocking on the door in five of six starts, including a rallying second to Classic Jewellery, before thumping a weak Class 3 field earlier this month. He remains one of the chances.

ELECTRONIC FORTUNE (8) has added to a Class 4 win at Sha Tin with three close seconds over this C&D at this level behind Majestic Anthem - twice - and Great Charm. He can't be taken lightly.

HONG KONG

RACES Failed to respond when popped the question in a recent mile fourth when handily ridden, but got to the line strongly to fill the frame in two prior starts over the 1,400m and mile. Not worried by the return to the Valley and merits another chance.
