Lil Wayne signs... Cristiano Ronaldo?
Lil Wayne has decided to further expand his empire.
According to MTV, the US rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., has a hand in almost everything from clothing, accessories to a label presidency.
But there was one thing the 31-year-old entrepreneur-rapper didn't have, his own sports management company.
Now, that it has turned into a reality, he's kick-starting it by signing football powerhouse Cristiano Ronaldo.
Not a bad start for Weezy.
According to Forbes, the 29-year-old Portuguese football star is world’s second-highest earning athlete raking an astounding US$80 million (S$99.3 million) last year.
Ronaldo, who was voted the sport's most valuable player in the world in 2013 for the second time, is leaving "everything from branding to marketing and endorsement deals" in the US to Tunechi.
Fans, however, seem about confused about the sudden and odd collaboration.
At least we know Ronaldo is going into this partnership wholeheartedly as he tells Japanese officials to throw up the YMCMB hand sign (a Lil Wayne favourite).
What do you think about the two powerhouses coming together?
