MALAYSIA TRACKWORK Winning workout by Snow Mountain
SNOW MOUNTAIN drew attention to his chances in Saturday's Class 4 event over 1,600m in Race 15 in Selangor with a smart trial at Sungei Besi yesterday.
The five-year-old Irish gelding by Danehill Dancer started two lengths ahead of stablemate Mildred Anne (Race 7) and finished 10 lengths clear at the post at the end of a 600m trial to clock 41.4sec. The going was good.
Snow Mountain, who arrived in January 2011 with a win and a second in seven outings in Ireland, has three wins, two seconds and three thirds in 25 outings. He last won beating Jean Francois in a Class 4 event over 1,800m in yielding going in Kuala Lumpur last August.
Trained by Thomas Gilliespie for Tmen Stabnle, Snow Mountain can have a say on Saturday.
