Three golds for Teo
Singapore archer Keith Teo clinched three golds yesterday at the Asean University Games.
Teo won the men's individual recurve event, and teamed up with Ong Yong Jia and Justin Zhang to clinch the men's team recurve event.
Teo then partnered Teo Zhi Ning to take gold in the mixed team recurve event.
Hosts Singapore also clinched a bronze in the men's football competition after beating Malaysia 4-3 on penalties after the match ended 2-2 in regulation time.
In fencing, the men's epee team beat Indonesia 45-42 to take bronze. Both the women's foil and saber teams faltered in the semi-finals, going down to Malaysia and Thailand, respectively, to finish fourth.
