Real keeps keen eye on De Gea while United improve his contract
Despite rumours of a move to Real Madrid, David de Gea's future remains uncertain.
Manchester United are vying to keep him as they undergo talks to improve his contract and hopefully ratify a long-term deal, reports Mail Online.
Meanwhile, Real kept a watchful eye over the 23-year-old as he played in Spain's friendly with Luxembourg on Sunday (Oct 12).
The Spanish goalkeeper, 23, has been in excellent form lately, keeping a clean sheet against Luxembourg, and making two fantastic fate-changing saves when United faced Everton at Old Trafford on Oct 5.

Real are believed to be interested in the services of De Gea as the successor to long-serving captain Iker Casillas, 33 and that deal looks like it's set to cost the Spanish Club £30m (S$60.9 million), reported The Independent.
De Gea’s current deal with United runs out in mid 2016.
