Schooling fails to qualify for 200m individual medley
After winning a silver medal in the 100m butterfly on Tuesday morning, Singapore's Joseph Schooling ended his stint at the 2014 Commonwealth Games by failing to qualify for the 200m men's individual medley.
He finished 15th out of 24 competitors with a time of 2:07.04.
In the women's 4x100m medley heats, Singapore's quartet of Tao Li, Nur Marina Chan, Samantha Yeo and Quah Ting Wen qualified for the finals on Wednesday morning.
They finished seventh in the heats with a time of 4:17.43.
In badminton, Derek Wong, Huang Chao (both men's singles) and Liang Xiaoyu (women's) all won their Round of 64 matches, while shooter Jasmine Ser set a new Games record in the women's 50m rifle to qualify for the final.
