Tampines Rovers teams up with Ronaldinho to open football school
Tampines Rovers will partner Brazil legend Ronaldinho and the International Football Group to open the Ronaldinho Football Academy here in Singapore.
The ex-Barcelona and AC Milan midfield maestro will be in town on Thursday (Dec 10) to sign a memorandum of understanding before launching his personally-endorsed E-Scooter, a statement from the five-time S.League champions read.
He will arrive on Emirates flight EK432 at Changi Airport Terminal 1.
According to Red Card Sports Radio, the school promises to be differ from mainstream soccer academies here by focusing more on the individual skills that saw Ronaldinho make his claim to fame.
Following the MOU signing, the 35-year-old, who won the Fifa World Player of the Year award twice during his illustrious career, will then appear at ITE College Central in Ang Mo Kio for a meet-and-greet session on Friday at noon before departing for China.
