All clear for Turtles

Terengganu have been cleared of any wrongdoing in their 2-1 win over the LionsXII in a Malaysian Super League (MSL) clash last Saturday.

The Turtles made three substitutions during the match, but had also replaced Nor Farhan Muhd - who was listed as starting on the team list signed by both team managers - with Ahmad Nordin before kick-off.

LionsXII team manager Visakan Subramanian included the incident in his match report that was submitted to the MSL.

But the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) said in a statement yesterday: "To clarify if this (a change before the match) was allowed, the FAS submitted an inquiry to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).

"We were informed by the FAM today that this was within the rules in place. As such, we will not pursue this matter any further."
