Are you just happy to see us? Ronaldo's new statue has a rather disturbing feature
It's no real secret that Cristiano Ronaldo has a pretty big ego and isn't shy when it comes to strutting his stuff.
And it looks like the Real Madrid superstar's new statue in his home town of Funchal on the island of Madeira isn't afraid of showing its...erm... "goods", either.
When viewed head on, the 3.4m-tall sculpture looks like it's sporting a rather noticeable erection, due to the way some of the creases were etched into its shorts.
Weird doesn't even scratch the surface for describing this picture...
Unsurprisingly, there was a fair amount of chatter on social media about Ronnie's new bronze statue...

At least Football Funnys decided to spare us Ronaldo's disturbing shorts with their take on what the statue should look like...
After helping Real lift the Fifa Club World Cup on Saturday in Marrakech, Morroco, Ronaldo flew to his home town to be present at the unveiling of his statue.
The emotional former Manchester United star, who has two Ballon d'Or titles to his name and is competing for a third this year, said: "This is a very special moment, to have a statue of me."

I love Ronaldo as a footballer, but I'm going to have to wash my eyes out with some soap now...
