Bearded genius Pirlo signs new two-year deal with Juve
Any football fan hoping for their club to get Andrea Pirlo on a song, look away now.
The midfield maestro with the magnificent beard, who is expected to carry Italy's hopes at the World Cup, has signed a new two-year contract with Juventus.
The 35-year-old pass master and free-kick taker extraordinaire joined the Turin giants from Serie A rivals AC Milan in 2011. He has since helped Juve to a hat-trick of league titles.
He so far made 131 appearances for the Bianconeri.
Juventus' Twitter account also released this snazzy graphic breaking down Pirlo's time at the club into numbers.
Well, at least Singaporeans will get to see Pirlo when Juventus come visiting in August. They play a Singapore selection side.
