Diego Costa set for Chelsea after passing medical
Diego Costa has moved a step closer to joining Chelsea after he passed a medical examination.
The Blues have long been linked with a move for the Spain and Atletico Madrid striker and it looks like they have got their man.
A £32 million ($67.4m) fee has reportedly been agreed on by the two clubs and Costa will now negotiate personal terms before sealing the move.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has previously said that he was on the look out for a "killer striker" to lead the line at Stamford Bridge and Costa has the pedigree to fill that role.
Last season, the Brazil-born forward scored 27 league goals in 35 appearances to help Atletico to the La Liga title.
He also notched eight strikes in nine Champions League appearances as Los Rojiblancos made their way to the final in Lisbon only to lose to city rivals Real Madrid 4-1.
