Moyes set for return? Former Man United boss linked with La Liga job
Former Manchester United boss David Moyes could be set for a return to football management after a Spanish newspaper reported that he is on the verge of taking charge at struggling Real Sociedad.
The Basque side parted company with manager Jagoba Arrasate last Sunday following a string of poor results that leaves them second from bottom on the La Liga table after 10 games.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Moyes has reached an agreement with Sociedad president Jokin Apperibay to be the club's new manager on a three-year deal.
If true, it will be the first job Moyes has had since April when he was sacked 10 months after he was named as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Manchester United, who finished in a dismal seventh place last season.
The club is not expected to make any announcement on the matter until after their league match against Atletico Madrid on Monday morning (Nov 10, Singapore time).
Sociedad have previously hired British managers in John Toshack and current Wales boss Chris Coleman.
