At least one Manchester resident is happy about this morning's 4-0 loss to third-division team Milton Keynes Dons in the League Cup. 

 

 

Netizen Holly Griffiths tweeted a photo of her online betting slip - showing that she had made a nice bundle for herself after mistakenly putting a bet on MK Dons and not Manchester United, as she had originally intended. 

The mistake proved to be fruitful - at the odds of 500/1, Griffiths, 20, made £1,250 (S$2,585) off a bet of £2.50. 

According to online betting site Paddy Power, Griffiths was one of 14 people who won big betting on the previously improbable scoreline.
