RVP
out against Gunners

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie will miss the FA Cup quarter-final against his old club Arsenal on Tuesday morning (Singapore time) due to an ankle injury.

Jonny Evans is also out after the Football Association slapped him with a six-match ban for spitting at Newcastle's Papiss Cisse in the 1-0 EPL win at St James' Park in midweek.

Left back Luke Shaw (hamstring) is a doubt.

For Arsenal, defender Gabriel Paulista is ruled out of the clash at Old Trafford with a hamstring injury which is expected to sideline him for up to three weeks.

Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who missed the midweek 2-1 EPL win over QPR, faces a fitness test following illness.

Defender Nacho Monreal (back) and Mathieu Flamini (hamstring) will also need to be assessed.

Midfielder Jack Wilshere (ankle), Mikel Arteta (ankle), Abou Diaby (calf) and Mathieu Debuchy (shoulder) all continue their recovery.
