Sean living a dream in Anfield

This was something Sean Ng never dared dream of.

He won a lucky draw at Carlsberg's Everyone's Home Ground live screening event in May, earning himself an all-expense-paid trip to Liverpool where he watched the Merseyside Derby last night.

Then he was told that he would be taking penalties at half-time, in front of the Kop to boot.

Only when planted his shoes on the field, did he actually believe it was happening.

But that wasn't all.

He scored two out of three penalties to beat another Singaporean, Tan Kong Hock, 60, to win the chance to present the Man-of-the-Match award to Steven Gerrard after the game (above).

Tan was the coffeeshop winner of a nation-wide Carlsberg lucky draw.

Said Ng, a Singapore permanent resident: "The feeling when I stepped onto the turf was incredible.

"I am a big Steven Gerrard fan, so when he stepped up to take the free-kick before the goal, I was hoping that he would score.

"Because the way the match was going, the scorer would end up being man-of-the-match. And indeed that was how it turned out.

"Until now, I still find everything hard to believe. I have just taken penalties in front of the Kop and handed out an award to Steven Gerrard!"
