Asian Games: 5-medal haul for sailors
Singapore's sailors bagged five medals at the Asian Games in Incheon today (Sept 30).
Girls' Optimist sailor Jodie Lai as well as women's 420 duo Kimberly Lim and Savannah Siew clinched gold in their respective fleets while Priscilla Low and Cecilia Low won the women's 29er silver.
Rounding out the medals were men's Laser sailor Colin Cheng and men's 420 representatives Loh Jia Yi and Jonathan Yeo, who took bronze.
The sailors' haul takes Singapore's medal tally at the Asiad to four gold, five silver and 11 bronze.
The Republic is still in contention for a medal in the J80 match racing category, with the crew in the semi-finals with Japan, Malaysia and South Korea.
The finals will take place on Wednesday.
