Asian Games: Feng caps S'pore medal tally with table tennis bronze
Feng Tianwei bagged Singapore's final medal at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea with a table tennis bronze in the women's singles event on Saturday morning.
The world No. 4 fell in a tightly-contested 4-0 (11-13, 11-13, 12-14, 8-11) semi-final defeat to China's world No. 5 Zhu Yuling at the Suwon Gymnasium.
It was the table tennis team's third bronze after podium finishes from the men's doubles and women's team events.
As the last Singaporean in action, 28-year-old Feng capped Team Singapore's medal tally at the Asiad which stands at five golds, six silvers and 13 bronzes.
It is an overall improvement from the Republic's performance at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, which yielded four golds, seven silvers and six bronzes.
