Singapore's Koh and Ong lead at Serapong
Koh Sock Hwee carded a three-under 69 at the Sentosa Golf Club's Serapong Course yesterday to take the lead after Day 1 of the SEA Games women's golf event.
Koh had five birdies to lead Indonesia's Rivani Sihotang by one stroke.
Singapore's Jen Goh (77) is joint-10th, while Amanda Tan (83) is joint-17th.
In Day 2 of the men's event, Singapore's Marc Ong returned a 73 to share the lead with Thailand's Natipong Srithong (73) on 143.
Thailand's Sarit Suwannarut shot the best round of the day, 66. He is joint-third with three others, including Jonathan Woo, on 144.
Thailand lead the men's team standings with 426, six ahead of the hosts in second place.
