Well played? Djokovic won Australian Open but it's Murray's fiancee Kim Sears who won the Internet

At tennis games, it's usually the players who all the attention.

But strangely enough, this woman out-played everyone else - and she wasn't even on court!

At yesterday's (Feb 1) Australian Open finals between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, Murray's fiance Kim Sears grabbed eyeballs in a move aimed at critics

When the going turned tough for her husband-to-be during the Murray-Berdych semi-finals last Thursday, she was caught on camera cursing.

Critics derided her rude outburst - unusual as she is  normally calm and relaxed during matches.

Sears didn't say anything about the negative media reports then.

But she did turn up at the finals with a t-shirt that probably shut down the naysayers.

Fans on social media lapped up Sears' humour.

Murray was also quick to defend her at the press conference after his semi-final win.

He said:

“I was told about that. When there’s a lot of tension surrounding something, which you (media) created, then it’s completely normal.
“Even Tomas, who very rarely says anything on the court, there was tension there for him, as well. In the heat of the moment you can say stuff that you regret. And, yeah, that’s it.”

Murray might have lost the title to Djokovic, but he definitely has an amazing fiancee he can be be proud of.
